The domain of the University of Burgundy is managed by the team of the IUVV: Institut Universitaire de la Vigne et du Vin by Jules Guyot (in homage to the famous French physician and physicist of the 19th century, known for his wine studies). This institute trains students in initial and continuing education in the scientific fields of viticulture, oenology, marketing of wine products, and wine tourism.
The estate is located in Marsannay-la-cote, a village in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.
