Reward
The University of Burgundy estate obtained « High Environmental Value » environmental certification in 2020.
The High Environmental Value guarantees an agriculture that preserves the natural ecosystem, integrates and develops biodiversity in the management of the farm, limits inputs as much as possible (phytosanitary, fertilizers, etc.).
This certification is the result of work carried out for several years at the Domaine de l’Université de Bourgogne to reduce the use of phytosanitary products and promote biodiversity (grassing of vines every other row, maintenance of low walls, etc.). It is also thanks to investments by the University, in particular for the acquisition of precision processing equipment.
This certification is recognition of the commitment of the Domaine de l’Université de Bourgogne in approaches that are particularly respectful of the environment.
